Manushi Chhillar, the Miss World 2017, has voiced her concerns regarding the treatment of working women, particularly in the entertainment sector. She highlights that discussions surrounding women often carry a tone of disrespect and contempt, a stark contrast to how men are perceived in similar roles.
Making her acting debut in the film 'Samrat Prithviraj' alongside Akshay Kumar, Chhillar expressed her frustration on social media, stating, "A misogynistic mindset tends to credit a woman's achievements to the influence of men rather than her own capabilities. I frequently observe that working women, especially in the entertainment field, are subjected to such disdainful discussions."
Looking ahead, Chhillar is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Maalik,' where she will share the screen with actors Rajkummar Rao and John Abraham.
